1. Archetype Yoga is a pioneer offering Katonah Yoga in the heart of the Playhouse Village. We see ourselves as innovators who are unafraid of taking a risk.
2. Archetype Yoga is a woman own business! Studio Owners Sara Blumenkranz and Jen Montoya started practicing yoga in New York City and thought it would be a good idea to bring their style of practice Katonah to LA.
3. Katonah is the New Black - Katonah Yoga® founded by Nevine Michaan, an influential mastermind within the yoga community created her pedagogy for over 40 years.

4. Our yoga is like Symphony - It’s a blend of metaphor, anatomy and Taoism into a Hatha Yoga practice infused with breath work and body mapping. Each class is an event to be remembered.
5. Katonah Yoga teachers are the equivalent of Jedi Masters.
All Katonah Yoga teachers receive an additional 200 hour yoga certification. They are trained in adjustments, body reading, face reading, pranayama, the 5 elements, and body mapping just to name a few. These training sessions produce laser focused instructors able to use their detailed eyes to understand their students' practice immediately.
Armed with an arsenal of unique body-altering poses and adjustments that take students to a new level. They leave their mark by enhancing a students’ capacity for breath and achieving a level of alchemy that cannot be forgotten. Thus, our teachers leave a lasting impression by the potency of their work.
6. We create magic on the mat - Our students will have the opportunity to practice on our custom designed Jade® mats. The artwork placed on the surface serves as a map adding an element of visual magic to enhance their practice.

7. We talk, A LOT - Our instructors incorporate “the why” and “how”, informing students in a learn as you go workshop style setting. Every class piques curiosity and gives students a multi-dimensional experience.
8. We teach technique - Our students are taught how to set themselves up for success. They learn how important using props such as blocks, blankets, straps, chairs, and sandbags are to help aid each pose. This engagement with students provides the foundation for a powerful practice that keeps them coming back for more.
